Verse 1(Women)
Now this is how the birth of Jesus came about
An angel said to Mary "You are blessed."
"You do not have to be afraid. God will care for you."
But Mary answered him, "I do not understand;
I have no husband and I have no home."
The angel said to Mary "He will be God's child."

Chorus
"Oh yes. He will be great and will be called
'the Son of the Most High' ".
"You will give birth to this Son and He will be called
'Wonderful One' ".

Verse 2
Now all of this took place to fulfill prophecy.
The Virgin will give birth to a Child.
He will be called "Immanuel: 'God with us.' "


Verse 1(Men)
An angel of the Lord came to him saying
"Joseph, take her as your wife.
Do not fear. God is with you, He's always near.
His Spirit guides you.
This Child she carries is from the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is to be His name. She'll give birth
to this Child. He will be King and save His people.

Joseph, take this woman Mary.
Take her as your wife."
Just as the angel had said, the world sang "Allelujah!"

Verse 2
The Virgin will give birth to a Baby,
This to fulfill prophecy.Christ the King,
Oh Immanuel, God with us!
